My bio can only be one line? Hm.

Shuffling around in bare feet and jammies, clutching a warm coffee mug in my hands, I start every day with my pets. 3 independent cats, 1 clingy dog. We snuggle on the couch and I think of making things; my 'garden' (um, porch), quilts, pillows, little mug rugs, things glued to other things, things sewn to other things, toss some yarn in there, maybe an antiqued brass chain and a dahlia cabochon, bits of fabric for applique... then reality hits and I have to go to work!

I love my job (at a veterinary hospital), so it doesn't bother me to go to work. This blog is a little window into what I think about when not at work. I've been photographing things since childhood, always wanting to get closer to the tiny details my eyes can't readily see. Now I have a DSLR and an almost-macro lens, so you'll see lots of eensy beensy things pictured here. And my pets. Lots of pets. They make our lives whole. (Mr. Cozy Notions has asked not to be pictured here, but be assured, he's around!)

So, yes, snug in our house with all the little things needed for projects...thus 'cozy notions'. I will pop in when I can to share what's going on, if there's an absence of activity, know I'm coming back! Once outside life calms down, I have time again for thinking of little, snug things.
